Echo Quilting

July 23, 2026
4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

A bold, illustrative silhouette of a flower screenprinted on a quilt square with repeated lines of stitching radiating and moving outward from the printed motif.

Explore the rhythmic process of echo quilting, a technique that builds movement through repeated lines of stitching that radiate outward from a central image. Begin by screenprinting a motif of your own designed hand-cut paper stencil, then use hand-stitching to “echo” the silhouette. As the design grows outward, your repeated lines will create a beautiful rippling effect.

Organized in conjunction with Jesse Krimes: Elegy Quilts
