How can textile patterns signify aspects of identity? Henry Taylor began his residency at FWM exploring how tartans—a woven cloth with interlocking vertical and horizontal stripes—served as identifiers for Scottish clans. He then worked with FWM’s Studio to weave his own black-on-black tartan. Join this workshop to learn how to create color swatch tests and use screenprinting techniques to print your own personal plaid bandana!
