In conjunction with First Friday extended hours, join us in celebrating our current exhibitions, Ahmed Alsoudani: Bitter Fruit and Workshop As. Taking a look back at FWM’s history of color, in our founding years we worked closely with the protégé’s of the late Philadelphia painter and professor Richard Kramer to develop a precise system for mixing color. Over the decades, we’ve collected a color archive containing countless swatches and pigment recipes. These recipes have enabled our Artists-in-Residence and Apprentices to express a fluency of thought and feeling.

Tour our current exhibitions and join us for a behind-the-scenes look at our pigment room. Learn the process of mixing color and create your own signature pigment you can use to create a screenprinted image to take home with you!
