At The Fabric Workshop and Museum, you can count on an unconventional museum experience—so why should tours be any different? Join this guided behind-the-scenes tour of FWM’s 7th floor archive where you will explore a variety of stored collection pieces and process materials from former Artists-in-Residence and get a first-hand look at how their work is preserved. These tours will demystify collection management and provide a closer look at the life of an object in the museum’s care. Visitors will encounter a selection of works in storage by artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Yinka Shonibare, Gabriel Martinez, and Renée Green.

Tours occur every Sunday at 1:30 pm and last approximately 30–45 minutes with a limit of 10 participants per tour. Reservations are highly encouraged to secure your spot and include general admission to the museum galleries.
