About the Participants

Sisters Nakia and Taahirah Stith have been ‘plant based’ before it was popular. Born into a family with core values of respect for self and community, health and wellness were extremely important tenants in their upbringing. The sisters have over 30 years of experience utilizing food as medicine. After years of being asked to bring their remedies to the public, the Herbalist + Certified Integrated Health Practitioner sisters created Dope Botanicals. Dope Botanicals is an inspired a’plant’ecary™ that creates intentional, plant based alchemical remedies. Located in Rittenhouse Square at 257 S. 20th Street, Dope Botanicals was voted Best Herbal Apothecary by Philadelphia Magazine.
