Beginning with a tour of our current exhibitions, Hard/Cover and Elisabeth Kley: Minutes of Sand, participants will explore memory, generosity, playfulness, and power through the large-scale patterns and ceramic sculptures of Viola Frey and Elisabeth Kley. The tour will be followed by a hands-on workshop in our sixth-floor print studio, where participants will learn how to create large-scale printed patterns using monoprinting and masking techniques. Participants will leave with several paper print studies and a cotton scarf, screenprinted with their own original design.
