Translate your pattern studies into repeat patterns for printing.

In this four-part class, start by choosing a hand-drawn pattern to translate onto mylar using opaque drawing materials. Then learn the process of creating a small repeat, exposing an image onto a silkscreen, and printing onto fabric.

In the second part of this class, we’ll transform an additional motif into a custom printing block. Learn how to prepare a plate and use block printing techniques to add additional color and design elements to your repeat pattern. Leave with one yard of hand-printed fabric, a printing block, and a 10 x 14-inch screen exposed with your own design to bring home with you for future printing!

All materials are included in the price of the class.
