On the occasion of Jonathan Lyndon Chase’s solo exhibition, Big Wash, at The Fabric Workshop and Museum, artists Jonathan Lyndon Chase and Devin N. Morris engage in candid conversation exploring their artistic practice as Black queer artists living and working in the 21st century, covering a spectrum of themes including but not limited to: coping during the quarantine, mental health, racist cleaning products, re-domesticating objects, washing rituals, spirituality, ancestry, coming out, love, caring, desire, fleeting, navigating adolescence, domesticity, Black atmosphere, relationships, family, and friendship. Pre-recorded via Zoom on November 23, 2020 during COVID-19 quarantine.
