5 Reasons to Vote FWM

  1. Always Surprising, Always Free: We’re committed to bringing you thrilling contemporary art exhibitions with free admission.
  2. Art in Collaboration: Artists come from all over to collaborate and experiment with our in-house Studio team. Our pursuit of unexpected ideas, materials, and processes has resulted in a museum unlike any other.
  3. Skill Building: Each year, through our Apprentice Training Program and dozens of public workshops, FWM introduces artists and makers to new disciplines including screenprinting, block printing, weaving, and dyeing.
  4. Art in Schools: Not only does our Education team brings screenprinting to Philadelphia classrooms, but we leave behind a toolkit of supplies to enable teachers to lead screenprinting lessons for future students.
  5. Building Community: Whether by bringing craft projects to kids in our public parks or hosting a potluck for Philly Filipinos at the museum, we find ways to connect art with communities.
