Diana Weymar’s first piece for the ‘Tiny Pricks Project.’

In her exhibition Monumental Cloth, The Flag We Should Know, Sonya Clark uses textile traditions to bring historic omissions to light. In the spirit of this project, FWM invites you to sit, stitch, eat, drink, and participate in your own art action! Started by Diana Weymar in 2018, Tiny Pricks is a collaborative project using embroidery to create and amass an archive of embroidered political tweets. Please join us to voice and stitch an excerpt from this unprecedented moment in history. All skill levels welcome and creations will be incorporated into the Tiny Pricks public archive, to be exhibited nationally and internationally. FWM will provide embroidery thread, fabric, and refreshments. You are also welcome to bring your own found or antique textiles.
