Jumpstart your summer sketchbook with an in-gallery drawing session exploring the intersection of art and fashion inspired by Soft/Cover. Led by Black Hippie Art, we’ll delve into the art of fashion illustration and consider the interplay between fabric and design through the lens of contemporary art.

This session will take place in the galleries and include materials such as paper, pencils, colored pencils and drawing pens. BYO sketchbook and your favorite drawing tools if you prefer your own.

About the Participants

She has worked with entrepreneurs and brands such as RM67, James R. Sanders, and Sibby Liv, and has contributed to Art Basel Miami Beach and fashion weeks in Philadelphia and New York. Keyonna’s work as a wearable art designer has been showcased at James Oliver Gallery, Art to Ware, and HOT•BED Gallery during Philadelphia Fashion Week. She provides artists with a platform to showcase their work by curating gallery shows and installations around the city through her “I AM CREATOR / CREATION” project. Keyonna is the founder of Black Hippie Art, a digital space and art club dedicated to empowering artists of color through creative expression and well-being. With a mission to foster self-care and personal growth, the collective offers a range of art experiences, workshops, and educational resources tailored to meet the unique needs of BIPOC artists.
