Rocks weather and record the rhythmic passing of time. In Lisa Alvarado‘s work, rocks become talismans—a powerful presence that influences human experience—as well as a metaphor for resilience. Learn to sew your own rock pocket to revere, transport, and display a special rock* from your own collection.

*If you have a special rock, please bring it in so that you can make an appropriately sized pocket.
